Course Overview
The FIREUP 10857NAT – Certificate IV in Business and Personal Coaching gives graduates the skills to implement coaching techniques, both in their professional and private lives. Our course provides the coaching qualification that can be implemented into your current practice or launch you into a career in coaching and meets the requirements of ICF Level 1 Coach Training.
The course is designed to equip those wanting to coach in any context, whether it be life coaching, executive coaching, health and wellbeing coaching, career coaching, leadership coaching, sales, compassion or mindset coaching.
The course satisfies the requirements to become an ICF Accredited Coach and is a pathway to our 11144NAT-Diploma of Leadership Coaching and Mentoring. It includes the 10 hours of Mentor Coaching required as an ACTP.

- REACH
- NLP – Neuro-linguistic programming
- Managing emotions

NAT10857001 – Adopt a positive, supportive and flexible coaching style based on awareness of self and others
NAT10857002 – Establish foundations of the coaching relationship
This module will cover the following :
- Planning & prioritising
- Creativity in coaching
- Overcoming blocks
- Promoting coaching
- Developing a successful business
Units of competency :
NAT10857003 – Build rapport and evoke awareness in the client
NAT10857004 – Partner with client to develop a coaching plan to facilitate learning and growth
NAT10857005 – Facilitate client’s progress and accountability
This module will cover the following :
- Thinking & communication
- Coaching and values
- Values and sustainable change
- Values clarification and alignment
Units of competency :
NAT10857006 – Challenge client to transform limiting beliefs and behaviour and align with core values
- Advanced coaching techniques
- Positive Psychology and positive intention
- Promoting coaching and developing a successful business
