When Kathy McKenzie founded FIREUP Coaching in 1998, professional coaching was still emerging as a discipline in Australia. We made history by creating Australia’s first coaching qualification to achieve dual accreditation under both the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) standards. We equip you to focus on the context you want to coach in whether it be life coaching, executive coaching, health and wellbeing coaching, career coaching, leadership coaching, sales, compassion or mindset coaching.
If you already have practical experience as a coach but no formal qualifications, you may be limiting your opportunities. More and more Clients are expecting their Coach to be qualified, particular if you aspire to coach within Corporations or Government organisations. A coaching qualification will mean you’ll receive recognition, and credibility from your prospective clients or associates.
